We are pleased to announce this innovative, special event that will be taking place on 7th June.
Our first Open Gardens was held in 2019 following a break of many years and we were delighted to host over 500 visitors on a wonderful sunny day. 13 interesting and varied gardens opened, feedback was extremely positive and we raised over £2,000 for the Nottinghamshire Hospice and the Village.
Of course, current events mean that we have had to totally re-think the format and consequently the 2020 event will be online, hosted via Facebook on our web page.
We are currently posting daily updates with photographs of village gardens on our Facebook site, showing how they are developing before the big day and are delighted that we are attracting a good following already.
On the 7th June the website site will be dedicated to photos and videos of at least 20 plots, including information about the gardens themselves and more specific comments about individual pictures. We are so lucky in our village in that we have such a diverse range of amazing gardens for people to look at.
A main driver will be our link to the Just Giving page and we have set an ambitious target of £1,000 and it would be wonderful if we had enough visitors contributing to make this a reality.
